Internship Program

Looking to add to your study experience with a work experience program?

An internship program will allow you to spend time getting the industry experience necessary to build your resume and ultimately help you to get the job you really want.

Please note, internships are only offered based on past study and communication skills.  This means that students who have completed their Martin College Diploma are more likely to secure the Internship they want.

There are 2 types of internship:

• Professional Internship – unpaid internship in a professional field
• Hospitality Internship – paid internship in hospitality industry
     

Professional Internship – unpaid internship in a professional field

The program offers candidates in a wide range of fields an opportunity to gain professional experience in their field. The positions are non paid training positions and they are available in all major cities of Australia.

Who is this for?

• Must be 18-30 years old
• Must have some relevant educational background, such as Martin College Diploma

Internship Areas

• Event Management
• Marketing
• Advertising
• Logistics
• Business Administration
• Information Systems
• Graphic Design
• Media and Journalism
• Other areas as requested depending on a candidate’s background.

Duration

This program is available to 2 types of applicants:

• Students – Internship of 4 weeks to 6 months maximum
• Graduates – Internship of 4 weeks to 3 months maximum (must apply within 12 months of graduating)
    

Hospitality Internship – paid internship in hospitality industry

This program is a paid internship program offered to candidates that are completing or have completed hospitality studies.

Who is this for?

• Must be 18-30 years old
• Must have hospitality experience
• Must have graduated from study within the past 12 months

Internship Areas

• Positions are available in food and beverage, house keeping, front office and culinary

Duration

This program is available to 2 types of applicants:

• Students – Internship of 6 months  to 12 months maximum
• Graduates – Internship of 6 months to 12 months maximum (must apply within 2 years of graduating)
