Meet Jill Carter-Hansen

What are your educational qualifications? MA (Hons) FineArts, University of Western Sydney (Nepean); BFA (Photography and Printmaking), Auckland University; Diploma of Design; Certificate in Animation (TAFE); Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training.

What do you teach at Martin College? Drawing, Graphic Design 1, Professional Practice 1, Typography 1 & 2, Visualisation Techniques, Design Concept and Principles.

How long have you been at Martin College? Eight years

What do you enjoy about teaching at Martin College? I enjoy the multicultural mix of students and the professionalism of Martin College.

What additional work experience have you had? Casual and part time lecturing at a number of other Tertiary Institutes; Writing and illustrating children’s books; Writing/directing/animation of three films; Freelance illustration and design work for advertising and editorial; Design and production of posters.
