Sidney Barker receives award for outstanding contribution

Sidney Barker was recently awarded the 2007 International Women's Day - Outstanding Contribution to International Relations and Alliance Award.

She was nominated by colleagues who had the following to say about her:

"Sidney is a natural leader who exhibits the characteristics of high performing leaders in a natural and unaffected way.  She is highly motivated and sets her sights on a vision and works diligently to achieve the desired outcome.

Her own enthusiasm excites and encourages others.  This is evident in the way she inspires students and other staff members to achieve excellence in all they do.

Even more importantly Sidney understands the value of customers and treats them with respect.  While most organisations and leaders give lip service to this concept, Sidney has created a devoted team of fans particularly in the Middle East who see her contribution to their success as legendary.
